This design was named after Hedy Lamarr, actress, producer and inventor. While a Hollywood film star, at the start of World War II, Hedy co-invented a version of frequency-hopping spread spectrum communication for torpedo guidance. Like its namesake, this bag is glamours and multi-faceted, and is more than meets the eye.

The leather is a mix of bright colours, with black piping to match the matte black hardware. The back is orange, the gusset green, the sides are yellow and the flap is a hot pink.

The shoulder strap at its shortest is 91cm and fully adjusted is 140cm, measuring from each end of the swivel snaps.
Measurements are approximate as the leather is soft
20cm tall
28cm at widest
4cm wide gusset

How does it convert – simply remove the strap from the side connectors to make a streamlined clutch bag.

The lining is a cotton woven with a fun print designed by local artist Kasey Rainbow.

Leather made in Australia, and the lining fabric was sourced from an Australian business. Bags are designed and made in my MEW Designs studio in Brisbane Australia

As the leather is a natural product there may be slight variations in the texture and finish.
